Ranked first in France for most of its specialties, the Diaconesses Croix Saint-Simon hospital group was created in 2003 by the merger of the Diaconesses and Croix Saint-Simon hospitals located in Paris in the 12th and 20th arrondissements. The hospital plays a historic role in the health of Parisians.
The Diaconesses Croix Saint-Simon hospital group is a Private Health Establishment of Collective Interest (ESPIC) that participates in the public health service. It is a non-profit association under the 1901 law, managed by a General Manager appointed by an independent Board of Directors. Our establishment does not administer any additional fees. It is funded by Social Security and donations from individuals and businesses. All its profits are reinvested in the establishment’s projects: reinforcement of the care teams, purchase of the most up to date equipment, restructuring and modernization of the premises, etc.
We are the largest Private Health Institution of Collective Interest (ESPIC) in the East of Paris in terms of the number of beds and the range of specialties offered.
